Company Overview Established in 1998, Bosera was one of the first five mutual fund companies in China. Our mission is to create wealth for the investing public. During the 9 years from 1998 to date, the number of the funds managed by Bosera has increased from only one closed-end fund with RMB2 billion (approximately USD260 million) in 1998 to 13 funds in total at present, including 4 closed-end funds and 9 open-end funds. By June 30 2007, the aggregate amount of assets managed by Bosera has exceeded RMB135 billion (approximately USD18 billion), which makes Bosera one of the largest fund management companies in China. Over the past few years, Bosera funds have paid dividends of more than RMB17.7 billion (approximately USD2 billion) in total to investors. Funds under Management Bosera offers a full spectrum of fixed income and equity products, including 4 closed-end funds (Yuyang Fund, Yulong Fund, Yuhua Fund and Yuze Fund) and 9 open-end funds (Bosera Value Appreciation Fund, Bosera FTSE/Xinhua A200 Fund, Bosera Cash Income Money Market Fund, Bosera Select Equity Fund, Bosera Thematic Sectors Equity Fund, Bosera Stable Value Short-term Bond Fund, Bosera Balanced Fund, Bosera Value Appreciation Fund ¢òand Bosera Services Sector Fund). In December 2002, Bosera was one of the first investment managers appointed for the National Social Security Fund portfolios. Also, Bosera is one of only 15 investment managers in China approved to manage corporate pensions by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security in August 2005. Over 30 corporate companies have become to our pension clients occupied in many key business sectors, such as financials, automobiles, airlines, energy and mental. IT Culture With reference to information technology, IT culture is advocated within the entire company, namely ¡°applying IT in business and applying business in IT¡±. The investment, client relationship and knowledge management systems not only make the business of the company highly efficient and electronic, but also accumulate experiences in investment and marketing through the IT system. Risk Control We specify the control of various potential risks in each business target and designate responsibilities to each employee through the standardized work process, quantitative assessment system and automatic control measures. The company has set up a Risk Control Committee under the Board of Directors, Compliance Department, and special posts for combined risk analysis and fund performance assessment.
